This single-cask Jura was matured for twelve years in bourbon barrel 700377. It was distilled in April 2014, and Signatory Vintage bottled it in June 2026 for its Cask Strength Collection at 58.9%, without chill-filtering or added colour. The cask gave 211 bottles.
The sweet side recalls vanilla and buttery cream caramel, set against fine tannins and salt. Resinous and nutty notes and strong oak lead into a long, dry, mineral finish.
The nose opens with intense vanilla and buttery cream sweets, balanced by gently bitter tannins and a salty hint. The palate sets caramel and vanilla against marked saltiness and spicy tannins, with a powerful body. The finish is long and dry, with spicy wood and mineral saltiness, and a faint trace of caramel.
