Jura Islanders' Expressions No.4 Madeira Cask Finish (1L, 40%)

Jura Islanders' Expressions No.4 is a single malt from the Isle of Jura distillery. It matured first in ex-bourbon casks of American white oak, then received a finish in selected Madeira Malvasia casks. It was bottled in 2025 at 40% in a 1 litre bottle. This is the fourth edition of the limited Islanders' Expressions series, created with Neil Cameron, a gardener on Jura who also works for the distillery. His colourful flower arrangements and tall sunflowers against the rugged island landscape inspired the floral design of the tube. The nose offers nectarine and pineapple with hints of chamomile and gorse flower. On the palate come citrus marmalade, dried peach, toasted walnut and salty toffee. The finish is long and balanced, with mild honey sweetness and ripe stone fruit.
