The red wine casks give this whisky its character. The nose offers sultanas, creamy caramel, black cherries and heather honey, with raspberries, strawberries, cinnamon and vanilla alongside.
On the palate the red wine cask influence comes through with hints of raspberry and strawberry. The finish ends in creamy vanilla and cinnamon spice.
