Jura Rum Cask Finish is a single malt from the Cask Edition series, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It matures first in ex-bourbon barrels of American white oak, then spends a second period in selected Caribbean rum casks. The rum finish shapes a tropical, fruity and creamy character, and the whisky has a golden amber colour.
The nose brings guava and coconut with sugared almonds and apricots, and a touch of citrus. The palate is full and creamy, with sweet vanilla and fudge alongside mango, banana and guava. The finish keeps a lasting sweet cinnamon spice.
