Jura Two-one-two 13 Year Old Single Malt (47.5%)

Jura Two-one-two is a 13-year-old single malt, distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2019 at 47.5% without chill-filtration. It is the first in a series of annual small-batch releases named in honour of the island's 212 residents, with 6,000 bottles worldwide. The whisky matured for 13 years in ex-bourbon casks of American white oak, followed by a shorter finish in small casks of Chinkapin oak. The nose offers lemon cake, cinnamon and rich, creamy malt sweets. The palate is thick, with poached pears and fruit sorbet, then toasted pistachios. The finish is long, with lightly smoky overtones.
