Kammer Williams Pear Brandy is a German pear eau de vie from Distillerie Kammer-Kirsch in the Black Forest. A whole Williams pear grows inside each bottle: the bottle is fastened over a budding pear on the branch, and once the fruit is ripe it is filled with double-distilled Williams pear brandy. The spirit is matured in glazed earthenware jugs, so no wood character is added.
The nose is delicate, with ripe pear, soft floral notes and a touch of herbal greenness. The palate is gentle and silky, with juicy pear and subtle herbal and floral notes. The finish is medium, echoing ripe pear with a faint mineral note.
