Kanosuke 2021 Second Edition is a Japanese whisky from the Kanosuke distillery, made with spirit from all three of its stills. It was matured mostly in ex-bourbon casks, which bring vanilla and oak spice.
The nose has fragrant citrus, vanilla, lemon tea and green apple. On the palate come sweet, sticky honey and cinnamon spice with slight hints of grapefruit.
The finish is of medium length, starting sweet before grapefruit leaves a slight, pleasant bitterness.
