Kanosuke Double Distillery is a Japanese blend bringing together whisky from two family-owned distilleries: Kanosuke in Kagoshima and the nearby Hioki. It is bottled at 53% and is non-chill-filtered.
The whisky is made from malted and unmalted barley and distilled in traditional copper pot stills. It is matured in a combination of new American white oak, sherry and bourbon casks, along with recharred casks that previously held mellowed Kozuru shochu.
