Kanosuke – Hioki Pot Still Japanese Whisky (70cl, 51%)

Kanosuke Hioki Pot Still is a Japanese whisky distilled and bottled in Kagoshima, in a 70cl bottle at 51% ABV. It is made from malted and unmalted barley and matured in a combination of new American white oak casks and bourbon barrels. The whisky comes from the Komasa family, who have made spirits since 1883 and founded the Kanosuke Distillery in 2017. It is bottled non-chill-filtered. Its character is described as intense fruit with creamy sweetness and fine spice.
