Kanosuke – Single Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl, 48%)

Kanosuke Single Malt is the flagship whisky of the Kanosuke distillery, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It draws on shochu-making expertise and is made from undiluted whisky matured in re-charred shochu casks, bringing together whiskies from various casks. The nose is of honey, banana, lemon tea and caramel. On the palate come candied quince, Nikki (Japanese cinnamon), ginger and slightly smoked nuts. The finish is a sweet, elegant bitterness that lingers gently.
