Kanosuke Single Malt Sherry Casks Vatted is a limited edition Japanese single malt from Kagoshima, bottled at 48% ABV. It combines Oloroso and Cream Sherry cask maturation with bourbon and re-charred shōchū casks, alongside new American white oak. Both peated and unpeated malt are used.
Dark cherry, raspberry, vanilla and cinnamon lead the aromas. The palate brings raisins, dark chocolate, clove, fruit cake and lychee, before a finish of mangosteen and lingering oak bitterness.
