Kavalan – Ex-Bourbon Oak Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Kavalan Ex-Bourbon Oak is a single malt from the Kavalan Distillery in Taiwan, matured exclusively in American ex-bourbon casks. It is bottled at 46% and is non-chill filtered. The distillery's tropical fruit character comes through alongside creamy vanilla and delicate oak. On the nose there is vanilla, coconut, honey and fresh tropical fruit, with a little citrus zest. The palate is smooth and creamy, with ripe mango, pineapple, green apple and vanilla custard, while the finish is long and clean, with sweet vanilla, coconut and tropical fruit.
