Kavalan – Triple Sherry Cask Single Malt (75cl)

Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask is a Taiwanese single malt from the Kavalan distillery in Yilan County, which was established in 2005, in a 75cl bottle. The whisky is matured in three different types of sherry cask, applied to the distillery's sub-tropical, accelerated maturation. Oloroso casks add dark fruit and nutty richness, while Pedro Ximénez casks bring raisin sweetness and molasses depth. A third sherry cask type adds a contrasting note, and together they build layers of dried fruit.
