Kentucky Coffee Whiskey is a coffee-flavoured whiskey made and bottled in Kentucky, at 33% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It combines dark roast Arabica coffee beans and coffee extract with Kentucky whiskey, so the base is whiskey rather than rum or neutral spirit.
It has won Silver medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the Las Vegas Global Spirit Awards.
Candied dark roast coffee leads the nose, with maple syrup and dark chocolate. The palate is coffee-forward, with vanilla, caramel and gentle oak, and the finish is warm and slightly creamy, with roasted coffee lingering.
