Kentucky Peerless Small Batch Bourbon (75cl)

Kentucky Peerless Small Batch Bourbon is made by Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co. in Louisville and comes in a 75cl bottle. It is bottled at barrel proof, around 107 proof depending on the batch, and is non-chill filtered. It uses a sweet mash process, without backset, rather than the more usual sour mash. The age is typically around four years or more. The nose has citrus zest, honeysuckle, cedar and spicy oak. The palate is full-bodied, with caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, cinnamon and bright citrus, and the finish is long, with spice, cocoa and sweet and dry oak.
