Kilchoman 100% Islay 14th Edition is a single malt from the farm distillery on Islay. It was distilled from the 2013 and 2014 barley harvests and matured for at least nine years in ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 50%.
The 100% Islay series is made on the island from barley to bottle.
The nose has bonfire smoke, preserved lemon, orange peel and tropical sweetness. The palate brings creamy caramelised sugar, vanilla, lemon, pineapple, fresh ginger and oak smoke. The finish is oily and structured, with rich sherry notes and lingering peat smoke.
