This Kilchoman is an eight-year-old Islay single malt from 2012, matured in a tequila cask. It is one of 247 bottles drawn from a single cask, bottled at 52.8% in a 70cl bottle.
It was selected for the 15th anniversary of LMDW in Singapore.
The nose brings lemon, citrus and grassy notes with butterscotch and light fresh smoke. On the palate come cinnamon, vanilla pods, honey and juicy fruit, with distinct agave and charred oak, followed by a long finish of warming peat smoke and lingering fresh fruit.
