This is a Kilchoman single malt from the Cognac Cask Special Edition, a 2023 release drawing on Cognac casks.
The nose is smoky and fruity, with apples, pear, herbs and fresh fruit. The palate opens with sweet smoke, followed by oak, lemon, apricot and cinnamon.
The finish carries smoke and spice, with dried fruits and marzipan.
