Kilchoman Loch Gorm is an annual Islay single malt, here in its 2019 edition and bottled at 46%. It takes its name from the loch that lies close to the distillery.
The whisky is matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks.
Peat smoke, raisins, dark chocolate and toasted oak come through on the nose. The palate is rich and full, with dried fruit, caramel, cinnamon and a hint of orange peel. The finish is long and smoky, with a soft, spicy sweetness.
