Machir Bay Cask Strength is Kilchoman's single malt bottled at 58.1% rather than reduced to 46%, using the same vatting recipe as the regular Machir Bay. This 2025 edition is peated to 50PPM.
On the nose, lemon peel, melon and floral notes sit with light peat smoke, sweet vanilla and honey. The palate brings rich chocolate and fresh citrus with hints of smoked meat and a lingering caramel sweetness. The finish is long and evolving, with integrated peat smoke, a little spice and charred candied fruit.
