Kilchoman PX Sherry Cask Matured 2023 is the 2023 edition of the Islay distillery's sherry cask release, matured this time solely in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It was bottled at 50%.
Dark, sweet fruit, creamy nut notes and aromatic spice meet the smoky, coastal character of Islay.
The nose has dried fruit, earthy smoke, orange peel, dark chocolate and hazelnut. On the palate come salted caramel, jam, sultanas, cinnamon and coffee. The finish is long, sweet and rich.
