Kilchoman Sanaig is a peated Islay single malt matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. The colour is deep amber.
The nose combines dark chocolate, dried fruit and a gentle smokiness, with hints of spice and vanilla. On the palate there is rich toffee, sherry sweetness and layers of peat smoke, balanced by a subtle fruitiness. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit and a gentle, smoky aftertaste.
