Kilchoman Single Cask Release is a five-year-old Islay single malt from an Oloroso sherry cask, bottled at 58.2% in a 70cl bottle. The cask was filled on 22 September 2011 and the whisky bottled on 14 November 2016.
The nose offers dried fruit, spices and peat smoke. On the palate come raisins, figs, dark chocolate and barbecue smoke, and the finish is long and rich, with sweet tobacco smoke and caramel.
