A 12-year-old single malt from Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a mix of 70% bourbon casks and 30% sherry casks, and is non-chill filtered with no added colouring.
The peat influence is light. On the nose there is lemon zest, vanilla, honeycomb and a hint of peat smoke. The palate brings toffee, citrus, salted caramel, oak and soft spices, and the finish is long and dry, with a lingering touch of maritime salt and spice.
