Kilkerran 8 Year Old is a single malt from Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown, a sister distillery to Springbank. It is matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength, 55.6% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is zesty, with key lime pie, apple jelly, honey and vanilla. The palate is creamy, with banoffee pie, vanilla custard and panna cotta. The finish brings sea salt and brine, along with a note of gorse.
