This is Batch 14 of Kilkerran Heavily Peated, the strongly peated expression in the Kilkerran range. It comes from Mitchell's Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, which reopened in 2004, and is a limited edition.
The whisky matured 90% in bourbon casks and 10% in sherry casks, which gives it an amber colour. It is bottled at 58.3% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
