Kilkerran Heavily Peated Cask Strength Batch 10 is a single malt from the Glengyle distillery in Campbeltown, bottled at a cask strength of 57.8%. It comes from the heavily peated Kilkerran series and is a savoury, smoky bottling. The peat smoke is soft and sweet, with the toasted marshmallow note that marks the series. The nose opens sweet, with icing sugar, crème brûlée and vanilla custard. Gooseberry and Parma violet develop on the palate over time, and the finish keeps its sweetness with notes of orange pulp.
