A ten-year-old Irish single grain whisky from Kirker & Greer, an independent name. It was matured in first-fill bourbon casks and is bottled at cask strength, 56%, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings crème brûlée, vanilla, honey, tropical fruit, soft oak and a hint of citrus. The palate is full, creamy and rich, with vanilla fudge, caramel, ginger spice, burnt sugar and a pronounced bourbon character. The finish is long, warming and slightly spicy, with oak and sweet grain.
