Knob Creek 12 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, matured for twelve years in deeply charred American white oak barrels. It is full-bodied and dense in the mouth, with a copper-chestnut amber colour, and its high proof is balanced by mature wood sweetness and baking spices.
The nose brings mature oak, dark chocolate, toasted marshmallow, vanilla bean, leather, cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate, caramel, brown sugar and dark honey meet charred oak, white pepper and dried fruit. The finish is long and warm, with dry oak spice, toasted wood and a touch of sweet tobacco leaf.
