Knob Creek 18 Year Old is a limited edition small batch Kentucky straight bourbon and the brand's oldest release. It marks the 30th anniversary of Knob Creek, which Booker Noe introduced in 1992, and came out in fall 2022.
The bourbon spent 18 years in deeply charred new American white oak, with a No. 4 char. It is bottled at 100 proof (50%) and is non-chill filtered.
The nose gives brown sugar, dark fruit, aged oak, caramel and leather, with hints of tobacco and dark cherry. The palate is oily, with caramelised oak, vanilla, crème brûlée, dark cherry and baking spice. The finish is very long, trailing off to baking spices, char and almond oil.
