Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve is a nine-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon, drawn from one individual barrel and bottled at 120 proof (60% ABV). It is produced at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky, from a mashbill of 77% corn, 13% rye and 10% malted barley, and matured in deeply charred new American oak.
The deep amber bourbon has a nose of vanilla, toasted oak, caramel and warm baking spice. The palate is full-bodied, with rich caramel, oak, maple, dark fruit and robust spice, and the finish is long and warming, with lingering oak and spice.
