Knob Creek Smoked Maple Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey with Natural Flavors (75cl, 45%)

Knob Creek Smoked Maple is a Kentucky straight bourbon flavoured with natural smoked maple. Introduced in 2013, it was the first flavoured release from the Knob Creek small batch brand, and it is produced at the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky. It is bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof), a strength that keeps the bourbon in the foreground, with the maple sweetness and a touch of smoke sitting alongside the oak, vanilla and caramel of Knob Creek. The nose offers maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla and gentle smoke. The palate brings sweet maple, caramel, toasted oak and warm baking spice over a wisp of smoke, and the finish is smooth and lightly sweet, with maple and oak lingering.
