Kornog – Breton Peated Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Kornog – Breton Peated Single Malt Whisky is a whisky from Kornog. Bottled at 46% ABV, 70cl. Keeping the Celtic heritage alive, this French single malt whisky from Brittany is produced by the Glann ar Mor distillery. The project was conceived in 1997 by Jean Donnay and his wife Martine through the Celtic Whisky Compagnie, starting production in an old 1668 farmhouse overlooking the sea. The company were also behind the Gartbreck Distillery on Islay before it got bought over by Hunter Laing. The original distillery temporarily closed down around August 2015, but in 2020, the operation was acquired by the French beverage company Maison Villevert and renamed the Celtic Whisky Distillerie, continuing to produce the Glann ar Mor and Kornog brands.
