Koval Bourbon is a bourbon in a 75cl bottle from Koval, the Chicago distillery founded in 2008 by Dr Sonat Birnecker Hart and Dr Robert Birnecker. It was the first distillery to open in the city since the mid-1800s.
The mash bill is 51 per cent corn and 49 per cent millet. Koval makes its spirits organically, following a grain to glass approach.
The notes are mango chutney, vanilla and peppery caramel.
