Koval – Four Grain Single Barrel Whiskey (50cl)

Koval Four Grain Single Barrel Whiskey is an American whiskey from Chicago, made from wheat, rye, malted barley and oats, all of them organic. It is distilled in small batches, and only the middle cut of the spirit is used. It is matured in heavily charred new oak barrels from Minnesota, then bottled unfiltered from a single barrel in a 50cl bottle. Terracotta in colour, it has a nose of vanilla sweetness, green apples and ripe bananas. The palate is creamy, with banana, gentle oak, buttered bread, dried tropical fruit, vanilla and caramel. The finish is long and spicy.
