Koval Oat is a single barrel American whiskey from Chicago, in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is made from 100% organic oats rather than the usual grains, and each barrel is selected individually.
The nose is gentle, with vanilla cream, soft grain sweetness and light oak. The palate is smooth and velvety, with oatmeal cookie, warm honey and delicate spice over a creamy mouthfeel. The finish is soft and lightly sweet, with lingering grain warmth and a touch of oak.
