A single barrel rye whiskey from Koval Distillery in the United States, bottled at 40%. It is made mainly from rye, a grain that gives it a lively, spicy character. Ageing in casks adds vanilla and oak. The nose offers spiced grain, pepper and caramel alongside that vanilla and oak. The palate is lively and structured, and the finish is long, with spicy and slightly woody notes.
