Koval Single Barrel Rye is an American rye whiskey made from 100% rye grown in the Midwest. Each bottle comes from one specific barrel. The founders, Robert and Sonat Birnecker, use only the heart of the distillate cut, which is meant to give a brighter, purer spirit. The rye is matured for 18 to 24 months in 30-gallon oak casks, and develops rich, spicy flavours.
