Kurayoshi Pure Malt Whisky 18 Years

Kurayoshi Pure Malt 18 Years is a blended malt from the Matsui Shuzo Distillery on Honshu, launched in 2016. It combines an 18-year-old Japanese single malt with an 18-year-old Scotch single malt, which gives it a noticeable Speyside character. The nose is malty and discreetly spiced, with bread and hay. The palate is balanced, creamy, soft and sweet, with malt, gentle spice, vanilla and oak tannins. The finish is of medium length, oaky and spicy, with a light touch of smoke.
