Laberdolive 1993 Bas-Armagnac Domaine de Jaurrey (70cl)

This is a 1993 vintage Bas-Armagnac from the Laberdolive family's Domaine de Jaurrey, in a 70cl bottle. The family has made Armagnac here since 1893, on the sandy sables fauves soils of the Douze Valley at Labastide d'Armagnac. Baco, Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche are each distilled separately in a traditional alambic armagnacais continuous column still, then aged in black Gascon oak barrels made from trees grown on the property. Nothing is added and no colouring is used.
