This is the 2023 Special Release from Lagavulin, a 12 year old single malt distilled, matured and bottled in Scotland.
After its initial ageing, the whisky was finished in Don Julio Añejo tequila casks, an unusual choice for an Islay malt. It was bottled at natural cask strength, and the release is a limited edition.
