Lagavulin 16 Year Old is an Islay single malt in a 75cl bottle, considered by many to be the benchmark for Islay malts.
It pours a golden amber colour, and the nose brings intense smoky peat and iodine.
The palate is full-flavoured, rich and smooth, with peat, figs, dates and vanilla, followed by an enduring, smoky, dry finish.
