Lagavulin – 16 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl)

Lagavulin 16 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch, matured in oak casks for a minimum of 16 years. It comes in a 70cl bottle from the Lagavulin distillery, where the first legal operation was founded in 1816 by John Johnston. The whisky has the heavy peat smoke typical of southern Islay, alongside richness and a dry character. It is often served in a traditional whisky glass, neat or with a little still water, which can open up the aromas and flavours.
