Lagavulin – 1979 Murray McDavid 23 Year Old Mission I

This is a 23 year old Islay single malt from Lagavulin, distilled in 1979 and bottled independently by Murray McDavid. It was part of the first selection in the company's Mission range. Mission is the Murray McDavid prestige range, launched in 2002 and released across five batch selections until 2006. Murray McDavid was founded in 1996 by Mark Reynier, Simon Coughlin and Gordon Wright, formerly a director at Springbank.
