Lagavulin 8 Year Old is an Islay single malt matured for eight years in ex-bourbon casks. This edition was released to mark the 200th anniversary of the distillery.
The nose is fresh with light smoke. On the palate it brings roasted oak, a gentle touch of mint and a slight bitterness of dark chocolate, followed by a long, peaty smoke in the finish.
