Lagavulin Distillers Edition 2022 is a Scotch single malt from Lagavulin, matured twice, with the second maturation in American oak casks seasoned with Pedro Ximenez. This is the 2022 release, matured in two stages rather than in one type of cask.
Its flavour is extra rich and raisin-sweet. Alongside it sits a dark smokiness that intensifies as the peat grows.
