Lagavulin Distillers Edition is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The finish adds a rich sweetness to Lagavulin's smoky character.
On the nose, smoky bonfire gives way to a sweet, fruity note of dried figs or dark chocolate. The palate is peaty, balanced by a rich, sticky sweetness from the sherry casks, and the finish is long and warm.
