This 11 year old Lagavulin is the fourth collaboration between the distillery and the actor Nick Offerman. It is an Islay single malt finished in Caribbean rum casks, bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle for the USA.
The rum cask finish adds richness and sweetness to Lagavulin's peaty character, and the edition is limited.
The notes include lemon meringue, honey and vanilla alongside toffee and warming cinnamon, with maritime brine and the distillery's smoke underneath.
