Lagavulin The Distillers Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky that goes through a double maturation. It has a rich mahogany colour.
The nose brings intense peat smoke with sweet sherry, dried fruit, chocolate and spice. On the palate it is rich and velvety, with dark fruit, toffee and a clear smokiness, and a gentle sweetness from the influence of the sherry cask. The finish is long and warming, with lingering smoke, fruit and a touch of oak.
