Lagavulin The Distillers Edition is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. This release is no longer given a vintage year, as earlier ones were.
It differs from the standard Lagavulin through an extra maturation in oak casks seasoned with Pedro Ximenez sherry. The spice of the sherry sits alongside the peat of the whisky.
